The Veterinary Assisting Program at West Broward High School is a three-year, career-focused program that combines comprehensive classroom instruction with meaningful, hands-on experience. Students learn in an environment where they can put their knowledge into practice, developing the technical skills, confidence, and professionalism needed to succeed in the veterinary field.

The program is organized into five specialized sections, each building upon the skills and knowledge students develop throughout their training. From animal care and handling to veterinary procedures and workplace practices, students receive a well-rounded education designed to prepare them for real-world experiences.
